Version 1.03 (10-August-2020)

StreetFix is an application to view and report problems in you neighbourhood.

To use, once loaded clicking on the StreetFix icon on the iconbar opens up a window and just enter your postcode in the Enter Post Code box and click either the OK button to view problems, or the Report a Problem button to report a problem.

The OK button displays up to the 10 most recent reported items in the area, with the title of the problem, the discription, the location and date of the reported item.

The Save as GPX button opens up a Save Window allowing you to sve the report as a GPX file which can be imported into a mapping application like the excellent Risc OSM

StrretFix Report

Clicking on a description opens up a web browser to the report on FixMyStreet site where the data comes from.

Clicking on the Report a Problem button opens up a web browser to the reporting a problem page for that area onFixMyStreet site, where you can report the problem and it will be sent to the relevant local authority.

One tip for NetSurf usesrs is that the zoom and directional icons appear in the map, just enlarge the browser's window so that those icons appear outside of the map and you can then move and zoom in and out of the map.

This application requires a working internet connection and Wget with the data coming from FixMyStreet.
